About the Journal

ICN Journal of Mathematical and Computational Sciences (ICN-JMCS) is an open-access academic journal published by PT Insan Cendekia Nusantara. ICN-JMCS focuses on research in mathematical sciences, computational methods, and their applications in scientific, engineering, technological, and data-driven problems. The journal welcomes original research articles and review papers that contribute to the development, analysis, implementation, or application of mathematical and computational approaches. ICN-JMCS is published semiannually, with two issues released each year in May and October. The ISSN is XXXX-XXXX.

FOCUS

The focus is to provide readers with a better understanding of Aceh and Indian Ocean Muslim Studies and present developments through the publication of highest quality research articles and book reviews.

SCOPE

ICN Journal of Mathematical & Computational Sciences specializes in Aceh and Islam in particular, and Indian Ocean Islamic studies in general, and is intended to communicate original researches and current issues on the subject with interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches. This journal warmly welcomes contributions from scholars of related disciplines.

Its scope consists of (1) Islamic theology; (2) Islamic law; (3) Islam and Gender; (4) Islamic education; (5) Islamic mysticism and philosophy; (6) Islamic economics; (7) Study of tafsir and hadith; (8) Islam and Science; and (9) Islamic art and history.

ICN Journal of Mathematical & Computational Sciences uses a double-blind review policy, in which both the author(s)' and the reviewer(s)' identity is kept hidden until the manuscript is accepted for further editing and publication.

Each submitted manuscript is evaluated on the following basis:

1. The originality of its contribution to the field of scholarly publishing;
2. The soundness of its theory and methodology given the topic;
3. The coherence of its analysis;
4. Its ability to communicate to readers, including grammar and style.

Normal turn-around time for screening and evaluation of manuscripts is four to six months from the date of receipt. Based on reviewers' recommendations, the Editorial Board of Islam Futura has full rights to decide article status, whether accepted or not. Articles submitted to the Journal of Islam Futura can use either English or Arabic. However, writing abstracts in English is a must.
